From a home-building company in 1972 to a dedicated water and sewer contractor today — the focus has always been the same: do the work right, and do it safely.
Jim Jordan and his son Jimmy Jordan founded Jordan Construction Co. in Tecumseh, building homes and commercial structures across the area.
Jimmy Jordan took over the company, renamed it Jordan Contractors, Inc., and shifted its focus to underground utility construction — water and sewer infrastructure work that has defined the company ever since.
John Jordan came on board, working alongside his father and learning the business from the ground up.
John Jordan stepped into the role of President, continuing the standard his father and grandfather built the company on.
The company reorganized as Jordan Contractors, LLC, while continuing the same focus on water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure.
Jordan Contractors operates out of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, with approximately 35 employees across four field crews, serving clients within roughly a 90-minute radius of home base — and beyond, when the job calls for it. All work is performed in Oklahoma.
That’s the standard every project gets measured against. Municipalities and developers come back to us because our crews show up, do quality work, and finish the job — without cutting corners on safety or workmanship.
We’re a family-owned company, and that shows in how we treat our employees and our clients: directly, honestly, and with a long-term view. We’re not chasing one job — we’re building relationships with the cities and developers we work for, year after year.
